Lets do Chile

Taking my young children to Chile for the first time was an unforgettable journey—one that allowed them to connect with their culture while also experiencing the country’s incredible natural beauty. We started in Santiago, where we explored Cerro San Cristóbal and rode the funicular up for stunning views of the city. Walking through the historic Plaza de Armas, visiting La Moneda Palace, and tasting delicious Chilean food at Mercado Central made the city come alive for my kids. From there, we headed to Aldorrobo, a charming coastal town where we spent time playing on the beaches, watching sea lions, and enjoying fresh seafood while soaking in the peaceful ocean views.

Beyond the cities, we embraced Chile’s wild beauty with a trip to Torres del Paine National Park, where my kids were amazed by the towering mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and grazing guanacos. It felt like stepping into a postcard! One of the most magical moments of our trip was heading far south to see the penguins, where my children got to watch these adorable creatures waddling along the shore in their natural habitat—something they’ll never forget. Our final stop was Pucón, a paradise for adventure and relaxation. We explored Villarrica Volcano, soaked in the hot springs, and spent time on the lake, surrounded by lush forests.

This trip was the perfect mix of culture, family connection, and breathtaking exploration. My kids not only got to see where their family comes from, but they also developed a deep appreciation for Chile’s stunning landscapes and wildlife. Whether in the city, on the coast, or deep in the mountains, Chile left a lasting impression on all of us, and I know we’ll be back for more adventures!
